Who we are
About
Florida Wells answers one question: how deep are the wells near a Florida property? We pull the public well-construction layers from Florida’s water management districts into one statewide snapshot, and link each well back to its source.
What we believe
- Sources over claims. Every number comes from a public record you can open.
- Say what’s missing. Coverage and methodology list the counties and records left out, with counts.
- No dark patterns. Typical depths are free. The well-by-well list is paid, and the free lookup shows the well count first. Pricing.
- A strong hint, not a guarantee. A neighbor’s well doesn’t decide what yours needs. A Florida-licensed water well contractor does.
Independence
Independent of Florida’s water management districts, the Department of Environmental Protection, the Department of Health, the U.S. Census Bureau, and any well contractor.
